THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY OF MIKE. R.I.P. MY FRIEND. YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS WITH THE LORD AND NO SUFFERING. THANKS MIKE FOR BEING A FRIEND.
James Ryan says
Mike always treated us right. He was an asset to the Near East Side – working withing peoples’ budgets to service their cars. Helping with payment plans. He would always try to do the least expensive fix first, if he could.
We bought several cars from him and enjoyed going into the Service Center to chat.
He will be missed.
Jamie MacDougall says
A pillar of the Near Eastside, Mike is going to be greatly missed. Not only will I miss his endless friendliness and resourcefulness, but my ’98 Toyota Corolla may just need to remain parked. Without Mike’s magic touch at Woodruff Place Service Center, she would not still be rolling today. Woodruff Place and Cottage Home are forever grateful for Mike’s service and spirit.

I didn’t know Mike personally but I heard good things about him. He was an asset to the Near Eastside and beyond. Thoughts and prayers with the family. May your memories sustain you.

Late to the list here but I miss Mike terribly, his humorous take on things & appreciation for the absurd, his great knowledge of people in especially and cars specifically, enjoyed hearing a nuclear engineer talk about “Mike at Woodruff Service is the only guy I trust” (true story).
